Could EMFs Cause Colony Collapse Disorder?
Colony Collapse Disorder occurs when a ‘hive’s inhabitants suddenly disappear, leaving only queens, eggs and a few immature workers. Most certainly pesticides, the decrease of plant diversity, chemicals, GMOs and parasitic infection can contribute to CCD. The earth’s magnetic field has an intimate relationship with many life forms and their survival rely on magnetite particles. Magnetoreception is a sense which allows an organism to detect a magnetic field to perceive direction, altitude or location. Naturally magnetic, biologically precipitated magnetite has been found in chitons, magnetotactic bacteria, honey bees, homing pigeons, and dolphins. Electromagnetic fields from powerlines, cell phones, cell towers and wireless has been shown to negatively impact birds, bees, wildlife and our environment in numerous peer reviewed research studies.
To understand more research Viktor Grebennikov, he examined a micro-structure of the lower surface of beetles’ wing case by a microscope and became interested by “an unusually rhythmic, extremely ordered, incomparable honeycomb, solid multidimensional composition, which looked as if it was pressed by some complicated automatic machine”. Radiation from cell phones and cell towers disturb the molecules of the chemical cryptochrome, which bees and other animals use for navigation. Research has found behavioral effects in honey bees after electromagnetic radiation exposure inducing artificial worker piping, disrupting navigation abilities, decreasing egg laying rate and reducing colony strength. We must consider ourselves as bees as well. Biologically formed nanoparticles of the strongly magnetic mineral, magnetite, were first detected in the human brain over 20 years ago. Magnetite can have potentially large impacts on the brain due to its unique combination of redox activity, surface charge, and strongly magnetic behavior. Colony Collapse Disorder has never been previously observed in nature. It’s estimated that about a third of all colonies in the US have ceased to exist, leaving the number of total hives at its lowest in 50 years. Will 5G bring the Human Colony Collapse Disorder?
